Terms of Service

Last updated September 27, 2026. This is a draft pending legal review.

These terms cover your use of this website (taskcad.com), run by CraneRidge Holdings LLC, doing business as TaskCAD (“TaskCAD”, “we”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Estimates and examples are not promises

The savings calculator, the example savings on service and industry pages, and the example scenarios are estimates and illustrations, labeled as such. They are not guarantees of results for your business. Real results depend on how your business works, which is why every project starts with a measured estimate.

Articles and templates are general information

Our articles, checklists, and templates are practical starting points, not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Check anything that affects your legal or tax position with a qualified professional. You may copy and adapt the templates for use inside your own business.

Our services

Client work is governed by a written proposal or agreement signed by both sides, which takes priority over anything on this site. Prices shown here are starting points and may change; nothing on the site is an offer to enter into a contract.

Using the forms

Please give accurate details and only submit information you have the right to share. Don’t send passwords, financial account numbers, or confidential client documents through the website. How we handle what you send is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • try to gain unauthorized access to the site or the systems behind it
  • send spam, malicious code, or automated submissions through our forms
  • interfere with the site’s operation or security
  • impersonate someone else or misrepresent who you are

Our content and other companies’ names

The text, design, and TaskCAD name and logo on this site belong to CraneRidge Holdings LLC, doing business as TaskCAD. You’re welcome to link to any page and to quote short passages with credit. Other companies’ product names and logos, such as those shown under “Works with”, are trademarks of their owners and appear only to describe what we work with; QuickBooks, for example, is a registered trademark of Intuit Inc. Showing them doesn’t mean those companies endorse or partner with us.

Other websites

We link to other sites, such as AI providers’ terms and Calendly (which runs our booking calendar), for your convenience. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don’t promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of this website, and, to the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the website is limited to $100. Liability for client work is set out in the client’s agreement, not here.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about this website or these terms goes to the state or federal courts in Clark County, Nevada, and you and we agree to those courts’ jurisdiction.

If part of these terms is invalid

If a court finds any part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, that part is limited or removed only as far as necessary, and the rest of the terms stay in full effect.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
